Five series computed from the job postings on this board rather than from a survey: median and quartile advertised salaries by call point, product line, experience, state and industry; how often employers publish what a job pays; which degrees and majors postings ask for; who says they will take somebody from outside medical sales; and how many roles employers opened and closed each month. Live reports are free to view and filter. No dataset editions have been published yet. Each edition will be frozen once released.
For live figures, cite MedSales Radar, the report title and URL, the data date shown, and your access date. Include any filters used and keep the relevant sample size and methodology with the number. Live figures change as the board updates. Once a frozen edition is published, use its edition-specific citation.

That covers the aggregate figures, not the individual job listings they are computed from, which remain the property of the employers who published them.
Every figure comes from a salary range an employer published on a live posting, read from their own careers page twice a day. Nothing is surveyed or self-reported. Each posting contributes the midpoint of its range. We report the median and quartiles, never the mean, and no segment appears until enough postings sit behind it for the median to stop moving when one listing closes.
The live salary guide uses annual base ranges and excludes hourly rates and ranges identified as on-target earnings. Actual earnings depend on the offer, commission plan and performance. Read each frozen edition's method and date before comparing it with another source. Not immune to one employer: a company advertising the same band across forty territories contributes forty postings.
